What Does Healthy Skin Look Like?
Just like the body, the skin needs to be exercised and nourished with proper nutrition.
I offer resources for strengthening, healing, and nourishing skin.
Nutritional Skincare Is My Approach
The skin is the largest organ of the body and in order for the skin to be in a healthy state it needs to be nourished and exercised just like the muscles, brain, and gut. The body is a whole being and everything effects one another. The skin can externalize emotions and health issues that are happening internally. I believe the skin and body wants to be in a healthy state. I focus on ingredients, nutrients and tools to help people have their most optimal skin.
I've been a licensed esthetician since '08. I have worked in medical offices, organic spas, and main stream membership centers. I use all of these approaches and philosophies when working with my clients for optimal skin. I focus on stimulating the skin and repairing it with nutrient dense products.
As a licensed esthetician I love all things skin. I find the skin fascinating and treat it as a way to understand what is going on inside the body. I find nutrition, exercise, and supplements have a huge impact on the skin. Our skin is more than just our face. It is the largest organ of the body and there is science revealing that like the gut the skin also has a brain.
Skincare has been around since before even the time of Cleopatra, which was in 50 BC. Pretty much every culture and country has a beauty standard, key ingredients, and creative products. I report on my finding and experiences I have had around the globe.
